instruments are device which is used to
1.measuring,sensing the process parameter like
pressure,level,temperature,flow..etc.
2.transfer the information of process parameter to control
room.
3.receive the appropriate control signal from dcs and take
necessary control action to maintain the process in the
desired level.
instrumentation is nothing but a detail study about these
instruments

Regarding , there is an air cooler which control the fans(50% of AV FANS) by temperature in outlet , and the louver of Air cooler is controlled by HIC from control system , So if on Air cooler we will consider 2 individual I/P converter or positioner?
