NPSH - net positive suction head.
Actully every fluid has some veporisation pressure and
below this pressure fluid can be veporise.if this
veporisation happened inside the pump means it will be the
cause of cavitaion inside the pump which can damage the
pump impellers and casing.so if we want to escape from this
possibilitym, pump suction pressure should be more than its
working fluid veporisation pressure.this min. pressure is
known as NPSH.
