guyz tis is a 10th standard qs....static electricity
develops inside a fuel tank due to fluid friction....this
electricity if not drained out may trigger an
explosion....so a metal chain is kept dangling 4m d fuel
tank 2 gnd so tat the charge gets discharged to earth.

At the starting of dc motor and syn.motor and induction motor high current flowing through the winding. Due to this the windings burnt out. To avoid this different types of starters are used. But incase of transformer what Will be used (At starting no emf is induced in the primary winding)?

if an insulated power and control cables of a running gas diesel gensets laid direct in an open trench i.e, trench bed is not rcc of a power house in which rain water, spillage water alwas exists and all power control cables remains submerged even when gas gensets of 480 kw each runningin on load. These power &control cables runs from power house to switchgear room through these trenches in which water remains most of the time. pl explain its merit & de-merit
