p=v*i this means when voltage increases current decreases to
maintain the power constant
which one is true...

the first statement is correct. When voltage increases current also increase at constant resistance.But the second statement is not true because current does not decreases instead the device burns out or the voltage can be maintained constant to maintain constant power.
