If 5v Dc is given to a transformer, what will be the O/P?
Answer Posted / mahendra patil.(det)
The action of
transformer is possible
only with ac supply
bec. Alternating flux
generated by it in
primary links with
secondary. But when
dc applied to it the
primary winding gets
saturation it only may
be damaged. We cant
get any type of o/p.
