which is more effective , a single extraction with a large
volume of solvent or several small volume extractions?
Explain.
Answer Posted / mohan
several small volume exractions are quiet best than the
single exraction..coz thr may be a chance for getting the
undesired product,i mean we dnt get the desired
quality..and also the feed must not be fully extracted in
case of single exraction, moreover it takes much time to
extract the feed..but in multi extractions with small
volume fullfill the drawback from the single extraction..it
takes less time to extract the feed..
