Revenue is the nominal item that arises due to a sale of
product or service whereas profit is the gain that arised
due to such a sale,i.e. the revenue exceeds original cost
of the product sold.
eg, Cost of a bag=Rs.500
Sale price of the bag=Rs.600
Revenue= Rs.600
Profit=(600-500)=Rs.100
