both forced and induced draft comes under artificial
draft.In forced draft fan is placed in the path of air flow
into the bolier whereas in induced draft fan is placed at
the exit of air nearer to chimney.
Cooling tower:
the principle behind cooling tower is to cool the water
coming out of condenser and re-circulate again into the
condenser.Cooling water uses river water for its operation.
