It is secreted by parathyroid gland. it is a linear
polypeptide of 84 aminoacids and molecular weight of 7000 to
8500.physiological activity contained within first 34
aminoacids.
functions are bone reabsorption,renal reabsorption of
calcium,calcium homeostasis etc.
