DTE-data terminal equpment
in the data terminal equpment the following processs take

1 data termination
2 data genrtation
3 data sending
thus from above expalnation wha is the best example of dte
type device
answer is router
router is a dte device?
now
DCE=data circit termination equpment. thus this is that
type of device whichsimply allow the data to pass within
then self without any modification
so what should be example of that type of device
it is

hub
modem
repeter
etc
