method(eg:QTP) functionality testing : software or hardware
is testing conducted on a complete, integrated system to
evaluate the system's compliance with its specified
requirements. System testing falls within the scope of black
box testing, and as such, should require no knowledge of the
inner design of the code or logic

If you are handling a product testing and if there are around 100 test cases and in them few test cases are failed then at the end of the day how will you treat whether the product is pass/fail.? consider the failed test cases are in functional requirements.
