how to find whether the operating system is
32bit or 64bit in SAP Level and O/S Level?
Answer Posted / syed mahboob feroz ahmed
Hi,
All the windows based with old version FAT system are
called as 32 bit and all the windows on NT based technology
are referred to as 64 Bit operating systems.
FAT is referred to as File
Allocation Table and NTFS is referred to as New technology
File System where a folder and inside files can be granted
permissions we find more security when compared to FAT
system.
In Terms of SAP Level SAP supports only NTFS file System
and it can be installed only on NT based technology
Operating Systems for better performance.
