in microcontroller why processor is used why not controller?
Answer Posted / chandrashekar
CONTROLLER MEANS SINGLE CHIP IT CONTAINS EVERYTHING WHICH DO
NEED IN OPERATION(EX:TIMER INTERRUPTER )
BUT PROCESSOR CONTAINS SINGLE CHIP AND IT NEED PERIPHERAL
FOR DOING OPERATION
BUT IF ANY ONE DEVICE FAILS IN CONTROLLER WE HAVE TO RELAPCE
WHOLE CONTROLLER ITSELF BUT NOT IN CASE OF PROCESSOR
