Can master data change???if yes then how it'll
change.....please explain with example......
thanx

Answer Posted / vidya

Yes in general we divide the data for ER modeling as master
and detail(transaction) data.

Master data will always be normalized in OLTP system, this
data need changes over course of time not often.

Example: Employee Database
Scenario: Change of Address,Location, active or inactive...

Warehouse is brought into picture only to denormalize these
data using keys concept

Same Example: Employee Database
Scenario: how many visits to onsite has the employee made
for the past 1 year.

Is This Answer Correct ?    1 Yes 0 No
