why we use only sine wave in ac why we do not use other wave
forms
Answer Posted / divya kumar sharma
we know that emf is produced in a coil whenever it
undergoes a change in flux associated with it.In electrical
engg most of the times the field have a cyclic movement,
which result a sinusoidal emf in the armature. hence at the
production stage, we have sine wave, which is used further.
also sine wave have smooth variation.
