suppose if DPT is placed below the datum line of the tank.
It will show negative reading. to make the DPT to show 4ma,
we have to do dero elevation, the elevation of value from
negative to 4 ma to be done, so it is called as zero
elevation. in other way DPT is fixed above the datum line,
the value has to suppressed to 4 ma from higher value and
this is called as zero supperssion. its simple to understand
