Though Transformer is an inductive circuit so it can act as
a low pass filter.......
But if the transformer's supply frequency is higher then
the transformer then the paper insulation and di-electric
oil act as capacitor. Then the combined effect of
transformer's inductance and capacitance act as a band pass
filter.....
