Protection required for dectection of abnormal(fault) condn
in case of generator are called generator protection.
Proetction req is based on the rating of the generator.
Following are some protection req in case of Generator.
1.Under/over voltage
2. Under/Over freq
3. Reverse Power
4. Differential Protection
5. Voltage controlled/restrained O/C
6. Loss of Filed
7. Stator E/F
8. Rotor E/F
9. Negative sequence/unbalance
10 Pole slipping etc..

I have a current transformer with 1 main reading meter with transformer outside the building and a control panel having 5 CT reading meters with black round coils inside the building. I want to know, A) when current pass through the Transformers, will the current be reduced or be the same and after that B) when current pass through the CT meters with black round coils, will the current be reduced or be the same.
