During the process of application developement, multiple
rounds of application builts will be released for testing.
In each of these builts, testing will be conducted and bugs
will be filed. These bugs will be solved by the developers
and fixes will be incorporated with the new built and
release for further testing.
Once the product is reach to certain stability, before
releasing the product to market/customers, a final built
will be released called as Release Candidate. In this
Release Candidate, the major testcases with priority 1 and
2 will be tested. Once all the test cases are passed, the
Application will be released formally. If any important
feature is failed in the Release Candidate built a new
built will be created and that will be the new Release
Candidate.
Finally, release candidate built is the built which will be
delivered to the customer/market.
