how the magnetic flux is said to be rotating & alternating?
Answer Posted / rajendran
when a three phase supply is applied to a machine then a
rotating magnetic field is established..... it means the
resulatant force due to the magnetic fields creates an
effect equal to that of an magnetic pole pair is rotated at
synchronous speed.
so we call it as RMF.
