friends..i attended the interview of sbi last year..
for ur info these were the questions asked to me
1.what is the reason for presnt financial crisis?how will
it effect India?
2.why u choose banking sector though u r a btech graduate?
3.some subject questions like whats a chip?what is a
microprocessor etc..
4.some questions regarding sbi and its associate
banks..mergings...total no of branches..etc..
5.questions regarding my hobby..i told them reading..they
asked abt my favourite writer..his books..some general qns
abt literature..

so..dont worry..prepare something abt banking
sector..present financial conditions..CRR,SLR,bank rate
etc..some basics in ur subject..then be cool and confident..
one imp thing is that not much in interview if u have gud
score in ur test..waitage for interview is 10 or 20..all d
best for everyone..

Hello sir/madam... I'm one of the selected candidate among recently held Postal Assistance Cadre.. I have been selected for the postal branch SBCO (Savings bank Control Office)... I wanted to know about the sort of work assigned to us in this post and also I have one more query. As the selection for above mentioned post is done on the basis of II PU eligibility, will I be able to apply for higher posts as a part of departmental exams?? Is an RBI Grade B officer likely to be transferred once he is allocated a position at one of the RBI branches? I am currently a PO in SBI. Compared to that, can you kindly inform me: 1) Is the chance to be allocated to your home state more in RBI? 2)Is an RBI Grade B officer likely to be transferred once he is allocated a position at one of the RBI branches? 3) Is the salary,job satisfaction, comparable workload, pension etc substantially better in RBI than in SBI? I can't find reliable information on this anywhere. Kindly enlighten me if possible.
