What is the recommended voltage gap between Live and Earth
and ,Earth and Neutral.If these are exceded what is the
solution.
Answer Posted / palpandi.a
L.E=230 v(If single phase),
=440 v(If three phase),
E.N=1.7 v(If proper earthing),
=2 v(Acceptable),
If these are exceded concentrat on earthing.Maintain earth
resistance is <1 omh.

Sir,In our company there are 3 caterpillar make(capacity:(1) 3.3KV,2.5MW(2)3.3KV,2.5MW & (3)3.3KV,1.9MW) & 1 deutz make (capacity:11KV,3.8MW)gas engines utilised,all are running in paralell. There are three transformer utilised,(1) 6.25MVA,3.3KV/22KV,Impedence voltage:6.7% used for two generator,both are 2.5MW(2)5.5MVA,3.3KV/22KV,Impedence voltage:7.2% used for one generator of 2.5MW & (3) 5.5MVA,11KV/22KV,Impedence voltage:7.8% used for one generator of 2.5MW.all generator breakers capacity of 1250Amps. Sir,I want the details of fault level calculation of generator,transformer individually & for whole system. If you require any information from me.feel free for contact me sir.pl.send the answer of my question as the earliest as possible.

Can u explain : what is supply for train (whether a,c or d.c ).I know that supply is 25000v a.c .But there is rumour that supply is D.C. And also explain how lights and fans inside the trains are working ,and what type of motors are used in trains whether D.C motors or induction motors .If d.c motor, how it gets supply.If traction motors are used then what are traction motors and its functions and how it differs from other motors and also explain about locomotive . y d.c series motor in train.train wheels r driven by D.C shunt motor ,at what voltage,and at what speed. please reply..............
1)we have 1000 cfm Blower,Dia-1Mtr,Velocity of air 94 m/s 2)We have Natural Air velocity 94m/s 3If i Put Wind Mill in natural air ,speed is 94m/s Then it will generate Assume 100kw 4)If i put same wind mill across the Blower,air speed is same 94m/s now the Question is Will it generate 100 kw?
