Although over 100 aminoacids are present in various plants
and animals only 20 of them are found in various proteins.
these 20 aminoacids of proteins are often referred as
standard,primary,or normal aminoacids to distinguish them
from others.
the almost universal use of these 20 aminoacids for the
synthesis of various protein molecules is one of nature's
enigmatic rules.
tjerefore they have been called as "magic 20 aminoacids".
