what is drive speed & what is driven speed
Answer Posted / sujay.........
In MOTOR & GEARBOX.
The motor is coupled to the input shaft of the gearbox by
suitable coupling.
In this arrangement motor output shaft rpm is transmitted
to the gearbox input shaft.
So in this, drive speed is the speed of the motor & driven
speed is the speed of input shaft of gearbox.
Input shaft speed of the gearbox is not equal to output
shaft. it may be greater or lower depending on the gear
ratios.
