why we not connect the 12 V batteries in parallel to get
the more backup supply ? how to calculate the input wattage
and output wattage of an UPS ?

input wattage calculation is input voltage multiply to
input consume current. V input x I input in VA. output
wattage calculation is v output x i output x power factor.
