What is surger vector in 33Kv transmission feeder? We have
AC power generator of 8MW which is paralleled with 33Kv EB
grid. Some times our HT breaker gets trip off due to surge
vector problem. How to over come it? Is there any device to
observe the surge and avoid tripping?

I think the question is about the vector surges in the
transmission lines....
These surges are sharp dips in the quantity of the
transmission lines happening due to the severe loading or
faults in the transmission lines...
usually when the generators are connected in parrellel
with the grid it will be provideed with the VSR protection
inorder to avoid the overlaoding of the generator during
the micro second grid failures (during the vectro surge)...
We can not eliminate the inherent surges in the
transmission lines....
