What are the different types of Servers?
Answer Posted / rebekah
Basically a server is a suped up computer used to store
data that can be accessed from other computers on a
network. What kind of data applications you load on this
computer will determin what kind of server you have. I
configured an old computer to be an application server and
a file server. This way I did not have to fill up any other
hard drives on individual computers on the network and I
could set file shares and permissions.
