BioIndustrial Sector, also known as White Biotechnology, uses cells or components of cells like enzyme, organic amino acids and yeast to produce industrially useful products. Enzymes, which constitute a major segment of this sector, are used in industrial processing of starch, distilleries, alcohol, textile & garments, leather processing as well as for supplementing healthcare products.
