Well Sensex stands for Sensitive Index....and NIFTY for
National First Fifty....Sensex is the index of BSE in which
the 30 largest active stocks are registered which are
registered in BOMBAY STOCK EXCHANGE (BSE) while in case of
NIFTY it is the index of NSE in which the top 50 active
stocks are registered
