A cost accountant is being appointed majorly in a
manufacturing companies. They are hired so that all the
costs involved should be specific. Ex: if a car
manufacturer has to manufacture a car, he has to have the
initial investments, preliminary expenses, raw materials -
like steel,paint, iron etc., and all other things required
to make it. So, he is hired to record all the things and
also give the management the actual cost.
