What is the principle of operation of simple jet propulsion
system?
Answer Posted / karthick
a simple jet engine consists of a copmressor, combustion
chamber, and a gas turbine.here the fuel is first compressed
in the copmpressor driven by the turbine after that the
fuel is burnt by air inside the combustion chamber.now the
temperature of fuel is increased.later it is passed on to
the gas turbine where it gets exapded.that power is used to
run the compressor.the expanded gas comes out as the
exhaust gas.this exhaust gas gives the necessary thrust to
propel the engine
