In automation testing(QTP), how we find the bugs?

We will go for the automation testing only if the
application is stable.i.e.bug free. If the there is any
defect in application, we will automate the test case after
the bug is fixed. in rare case the automation script will
fails due to functionality issue, it will determined by
analyzing the test result details.
