3. Acids converts blue litmus to red, methyl orange pink.
4. Acids decolorize phenolphthalein.
5. They decompose carbonate with release of co2 with
effervescence.
6. These neutralizes or basic oxides to from salt and water.
7. They act on some metals to liberate hydrogen. Inorganic
acids are classified as Hydracides, oxyocids and Thio-acids.
