GUI Testing
Graphic User Interface is important for an application to
be user friendly. The user’s who is working on the
application should feel comfortable in handling the options
in the screen like menu, pop-up, closing the application,
maximizing/minimizing the application etc.
Basic Checklist of GUI testing
v Check the spelling and grammar in all the screens
v All the GUI objects like Text Box, Radio buttons,
Checkbox, List box, Combo box etc are aligned properly.
v Does the pop-up message are showing the right text?
v Does the scroll bar are displayed when the screen
enlarges?
v Able to use keystrokes when Mouse not present
v Tab key moves to next GUI object.
v All the tools have Tooltip Message
