electrophoresis is the migraion of charged particals or ions
by under the influence of an applied electic field.
separation is mainly based on charge and mass.
SDS-PAGE is used for the molecularweight determinations of
ions or molecules like proteins .
isoelecticfocusing is used for the seperation of charged
sparticals and mixture of proteins(aminoacids).
