Dear raj,
I don't know from which centre or from which region you
appeared,but as i have said ,in my centre & also many
candidate(whom i know) from eastern region,the paper of GS
was not good for them.If you follow the last year's
paper,you will find that all the essay type questions of 25
marks,15 marks,6marks & 3 marks which constitute a total of
110 marks has been asked from the imp. topics,whereas in
the current year the first question of haresh mehta &
others is not a direct questions of constitution,whereas it
has been asked to explain the topics in relation to
constitution,which is quite tough for a candidate who does
not have a thorough idea of constitution.

Secondly, i would like to mention that the short type
questions of total 50 marks was common & easy,&,no need to
mention about DI which is always easy.

thirdly,the most of the candidate known to me had started
answering questions right from first of 25 marks i..e for
all the indirect topics,&,lastly many of them was unable to
answer the DI part throughly,due to time factor,in which
one can get 40/40 easily.

As, for me, i have started with the DI part & will get 40/40
& in short-type of 50 marks i will get 41/50 & for the
longest part may be i will get 30(appx) out of 110.So,i am
expecting 110(appx),whereas the case is different for other
candidates.Anyways..........pls.discuss,how the candidates
have given from your region/centre,then it will help us &
the participant of this forum who are giving CGLM 2008,to
analyse better.

Raj, you are absolutely right that the silverlining is for
those candidate who are good in arithmetic,but one thing I
would like to ask you that,since,you have given this
particular exam for last three times & the result of last
two times had been published earlier,so,do you know,how
much you have got or what you thing you have got in the
previous exams?? & what do you think what is the reason
behind your non-selection ...i..e if you know the cut-off,
no.of posts etc,during your times.May be it is personal,but
if you want to share in this blog,the pls.share,otherwise
