Current Transformer(ct) is used to measure current in high
voltage ac circuit because it is not possible to measure
high voltage ac current with ammeter alone.Potential
Transformer(pt) is used to measure high ac voltage.

A power transformer 4MVA/11KV/0.415Kv has been out of use in 12years. what maintenance actions/test need to be carried out before energizing.
In an ACB shunt trip coil and undervoltage coil operated normally( breaker open and charged). But closing coil not operating untill manually discharge and recharging. Any help.
in our all power plant have connected in grid and grid voltage and plant voltage is same, but as per as electrical concept the power will transmit from high potential to low potential but here altough same,then how power transmit from power plant to grid.
