Why does a cyclist bend inwards, while turning a corner ?

Answer Posted / sanju

When a cyclist turns round a corner, he has to move over a
curved path. He requires a centripetal force for this
purpose. The frictional force, due to the earth acting on
the wheels is not sufficient for the purpose, and hence the
cyclist has to bend inwards.
