How silicon gel sucks moisture in the transformer, its have
any small exaust fan behind silicon gel.

Answer Posted / blake_australia

answer 1 is correce.
The air in a transformer expands as the transformer heats,
and contracts as it cools. This causes the air flow. This
expansion of gasses is the reason that the transformer is
open to air.

Some transformers have a bladder seperating the transformer
oil/air and the outside air, and dont need this silica gel.
