Why we call cable rating in SQ.mm.If it is 240 SQ.mm how
much the diameter possible?is there any calculation ?
Answer Posted / rajesh palande
When we say that cable rating is 240 sq mm the user knows
that the area of the conductor is 240 square mm. Hence user
can determine the amount of current that cable can carry.
Calculate the dimension of circle which has a area of 240
sq mm and you get the answere about dia size.
