from where u will get friction factor 'f' in darcy's formula?
Answer Posted / suhel khan
since darcy's formula=4f'lv^2/2gd
here,f' is the coefficient of friction ,and friction factor
(f)=4f'.
value of f' can be obtained by following realtion,
for Re<2000,f'=16/RE
FOR Re VARYING FROM 4000-10^5,f'=0.079/Re^(1/4)
where Re=reynold's number
