Three friends divided some bullets equally. After all of
them shot 4 bullets the total number of bullets remaining
is equal to the bullets each had after division. Find the
original number divided.

Suppose intially they had -> B bullets
After division
each had = B/3 bullets
After firing 4 bullets
each left with = (B/3 - 4)bullets
Total=3(B/3 - 4)bullets
3(B/3 - 4)= B/3 bullets
Therefore
Total Bullets =18.
