There are lot more improvements in the installation of
Exchange Server 2007 compared to Exchange 2003 Server.
Installation Requirements are.
1. Windows 2003 Server (64-bit)
2. Active Directory Installed (dcpromo)
3. NTFS File System
4. IIS should be installed with WWW and Commonfiles
Components
5. .NET Framework 2.0 must be installed before doing the
installation.
6. Powershell 1.0 installed for the purpose of Microsoft
Exchange Shell.
7. 6GB HDD, 4GB are required for best performance.
