Dividend is profit of the company which is consideration
for the investor like equity and preferencial share
holders by way of investing the Capital into comapny.
Types of dividend is not there, but some stages are there
while payment of dividend.
1). first Dividend
2). Declaration of dividend
3). Final Dividend
It is a profit, thats why this will give it to
shareholders
Interent can give it to Debentureholders and Sundry
Creditors.

Occasionally it is said that issuing convertible bonds is better than issuing stock when the firms shares are undervalued. Suppose that the financial manager of Decent Furniture Company does in fact have inside information indicating that the decent stock price is too low. Now suppose that investors forecast earnings accurately, but still under value the stock because they overestimate Decent’s actual business risk. Does this change your answer to the questions posed in the preceding paragraph? Explain.
