information received from another system, Can i use a table
to create the data required for creating the PP

It depends ¡¡¡

If you only wants to recover some specific data to create
very easy reports, with a few tables it`s enough. This is
the idea as BW works using Infocubes ¡¡¡

But, if you want to get all improvements you can obtain
with PP Module (capacity requrements, MRP evaluation, ...),
so it's stupid to reinvent the wheel: Use this module ¡¡¡
