is it possible to convert electrical energy to light energy
for transmission purposes?
Answer Posted / tameshwar singh
The electrical signals are actully converted into light &
they can be transmited via fiber optic cables. But amount
of power can be transmited is very low.For bulk power
transmission we have to design such type of fibre optic
cable which offers very low losses & can bear high
temprature.
