how do u say voltage in capacitor lags by 90degrees in an
inductor?

Answer Posted / ro

didn understand the question dude..
the voltage in a capacitor lags the current in the same by 90 deg..
and the voltage in the inductor leads the current by 90deg..
vector diagram is somethig like:

^ V(inductor)
___________|_____________> I(both)
v V(capacitor)

therefore, the voltage in a capacitor will lag the voltage in inductor by 180 deg when connected in series..
and the voltage will remain in phase in parallel when the currents will be out of phase..
right??
