Generally, When an aloy is to be manufacured and when the
two metals A & B do not exihibit a solubility in both
liquid and solid condition, then the most prepereble method
is Powder Metallurgy. Metal powders are mixed and with a
binding metal (having low melting point than the two
primary powders) or by mechanical bonding the components
are formed by cold or hot pressing. they are placed inside
furnace and heated to a temperature known as sintering
temperature. (generally with a third addinal bonding
metaly, to its melting point. In powder metallrgy the poder
size, sintering temperature, the compacting pressure all
play a vital role.
