There are three types of triggers:
Form level
Block level
Item level
If you want to validate the values of an Item, usually use
Item level trigger, such as POST-CHANGE trigger.

in after report trigger if you don't write Srw.user_exit(Fnd_user exit) what it will do it will stop report execution or it will just not free the memory
