ELECTRONICS IS A BRANCH OF PHYSICS ,IT MAINLY DEALS WITH
SEMICONDUCTORS ,AND MOBILITY OF ELECRONICS WHERE AS IN
ELELTRICAL MAINLY DEALS WITH CONDUCTORS, WE CAN USE THIS TO
TRAMSMIT MORE POWER AT THE RECEIVER AND WE GET MORE ENERGY
AT REACEIVER BEACAUSE USE IN THIS
GENARATORS,TRAMSFORMERS,TRANMISSIONLINES WHERE AS IN
ELECTRONICS WE USE RESISTORS,INDUCTORS AND CAPACITORS THESE
OPERATE IN VERY LOW VOLTAGES IN THIS WE CAN BEAR TO RECEIVE
LARGE VOLTAGES DUE TO L,C ARE MEMORYY ELEMENTS.

The function of a transistor used in any of the ics is to perform switching action and not amplification. Then why diodes are not used instead of transistors as diodes also exhibit the same switching action?
